This course equips participants with with practical skills and reflective attitudes to support colleagues’ wellbeing.

The course objectives are:

  • Identify observable signs and risk factors of common mental health concerns in colleagues within a school setting.
  • Demonstrate empathetic communication skills by practicing active listening and supportive dialogue during role-play scenarios.
  • Analyze case examples to determine appropriate coping strategies and peer support actions that encourage colleagues’ next steps.
  • Evaluate when to maintain boundaries and formulate referral pathways to professional help or organizational supports.
